Dallas Commercial Photographer Dave Buchanan is the creative force behind Image Fusion Studio. Dave has been on the professional photography scene since sometime in the Carter administration selling his first professional image to WRC-TV in Washington, DC at the ripe old age of 14.
Dave is a keen observer of the world around him and the details that most overlook. He is fascinated by the intricate play of shadow and highlight as well as small detail. Much of his personal and commercial imagery features his desire to photograph the unusual in the commonplace.
As a commercial photographer his style is very clean. Although his images are immaculately post processed and presented he does not overly rely on special effects gimmicks to create his works. Dave firmly believes that the image should speak clearly for itself. The image is what is important not the gimmick.
Dave is actively involved with charity events often donating his outstanding work for fundraisers and other special events.
